For the Second avenue project our clients aim was to develop the site with two dwellings. The brief was to design two minimalist contemporary dwellings that are bold and elegant. The two cube shaped dwellings are a paragon in minimalist design, with the one feature being the timber windows.

The north facing backyards allow the living space to open out to a sun filled open space via large sliding doors which allow for solar passive heat gain. The large corner window seat is the perfect place to sit on a sunny winters day, providing functionality and comfort.

The design process was also guided by the siting restrictions and regulations relevant to the local and state planning framework. With our experience and knowledge in town planning we were able to efficiently design the site to meet the requirements.
